This study has tried to identify Yemeni English Teachers' approaches to the teaching of English and actual classroom practices derived from these approaches, the consistency or agreement between teachers' approaches and their actual classroom practices and the degree elt consistency of these approaches with the approaches of check textbooks being used.
This study is a descriptive one. The research design of this study is largely based on quantitative and qualitative methods of phd data.
